Rebecca Feck, APRN, PMHNP

MindWell Mental Healthcare of Kentucky is proud to introduce our provider Rebecca Feck APRN, PMHNP. Rebecca was born in Kentucky and has lived in our state her whole life. She has nearly three decades of Nursing and APRN experience combined in Pediatrics and Adult medical and mental healthcare.

Rebecca graduated with honors from the APRN, PMHNP program at Eastern Kentucky University. She is a member of the American Nurses Association ANA/ANCC), American Psychiatric Nursing Association (APNA), International Society of Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurses (ISPN), and the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and Midwives (KCNPNM).

Rebecca is licensed and board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the state of Kentucky. She has extensive experience in diagnosing and therapeutic medication management of DSM-V-related mental health diagnosis, working with ages 5 years old through the Lifespan.

Rebecca is passionate about Mental Health and helping all clients strive towards the quality of life they deserve. She believes in helping her patients realize their self worth, their potential and their individual mental health goals. Rebecca practices a holistic approach to mental health and believes in not only the treatment of her client’s but in educating them throughout their mental health journey. She endorses a partnership with her patients and subscribes to the belief that if a trusting relationship between the provider and the patient is established, a level of “teamwork” can be achieved culminating in the best therapeutic outcome.

MindWell Mental Healthcare of Kentucky proudly introduces our provider, Carissa Smith, APRN, PMHNP. Carissa was raised in Versailles and only knows Kentucky as her home. She has a decade of nursing experience in various settings, including outpatient medical care, ICU inpatient care, OR/procedural care, telehealth medical care, and mental health care. Carissa’s variety of medical expertise has given her a well-rounded perspective in healthcare both as a patient provider and, more importantly, an understanding from the patient’s perspective. Carissa understands the importance of feeling seen and heard by your mental healthcare provider. She demonstrates this understanding with transparency, simplicity, and efficiency.

Carissa holds a Master of Science in Nursing degree with an advanced license specializing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Frontier Nursing University. She is a member of the American Nurses Association (ANA/ANCC), the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and The Neuroscience Education Institute (NEI).

Carissa is licensed and board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Kentucky. Her clinical focus was on pediatric trauma and neurodevelopmental psychiatry, incorporating her advanced training in holistic mental health assessments, diagnosing and treating all DSM-V-recognized mental health diagnoses/disorders throughout the lifespan, starting at 5 years old and beyond.

Carissa loves working with people who strive to improve their mental health and overall quality of life. She feels that Psychiatric treatment is an underserved and undervalued area of healthcare that can genuinely help people live the lives they want to. She understands that life can be challenging and is passionate about empowering people to know they can overcome their struggles. Carissa views mental health as an ongoing journey. She cares deeply about educating and empowering her patients to give them the tools they need to grow and develop a happier and more fulfilling life.  

MindWell Mental Healthcare of Kentucky LLC is proud to introduce our Office Manager Tevis Stinnett. Tevis is a lifelong Kentucky resident. She has over 20 years of medical office experience working in Cardiology, Pulmonary, Neurology, Pediatrics, and Behavioral Health. Tevis has excelled in varying roles within each office setting and has a strong initiative and drive to succeed at both work and in life. She holds a college degree in Applied Science and is currently furthering her education and career by pursuing a certification in Medical Billing and Coding. 

Tevis has a heart for helping people and believes that every person has their own story to tell. Sometimes the stories are difficult and full of life-changing struggles. Often empathy and kindness can change the entire trajectory of someone's life.  Her goal is that all people learn to overcome life's hardships and re-write the narrative of their personal stories. Tevis has a heart for helping people through their difficulties and showing them that they are stronger than they may believe.

Tevis is a valuable asset within our office and an integral part of our team.
